Peak Performance Veterinary Group strives to provide the highest quality pain management to pets in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain West and coast to coast. As busy as we may get, we always welcome new patients and their people.

Making an Appointment

We provide an online scheduling system so clients can make, change or cancel appointments on their own without the need to talk to someone during business hours. This service is available for both the Frisco and Arvada locations. Soon after making an appointment, clients will receive an email asking them to request prior pertinent medical records, radiographs, and blood work from their primary care veterinarian and / or other specialists. Clients are also asked to fill out an online form to give us more specific information regarding the new pet. You will receive multiple reminders. If cancellations are necessary, kindly give us 24 hours notice so another pet can receive care sooner.

The Day of the Appointment

There always is pain and function assessment paperwork prior to your appointment. Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early.

New patients receive an examination / consultation, extensive history and medical records review, and a computerized gait analysis. It is very common that radiographs (x-rays) will be necessary if none have been taken, prior radiographs ore more than 6 months old or prior radiographs an inadequate. Blood work may be repeated for the same reasons. Other diagnostic procedures, such as musculoskeletal ultrasound may be recommended at this visit or a future visit.

Follow up consultations tend to be shorter than the initial. New history, examination and gait analysis to assess the intervention are common.
