Patsy M. Mich, DVM, MS

Dr. Mich is a Denver native and graduated from Colorado State University in 1991. She enjoyed 14 years of small animal practice in Arvada, CO during which she completed training in veterinary acupuncture and in 2003 became board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. In 2005 she returned to Colorado State University to complete a residency in clinical anesthesia and was named resident of the year in 2007-2008. She completed a Master’s of Science degree in 2008 focusing on clinical pain assessment and the pharmacology of pain management. She is currently completing a post doctoral fellowship in integrative pain medicine. Dr. Mich co-founded SHARE (Students for Human-Animal Relationship Education) and LAPP (Larimer Animal People Partnership); she was a founding member of the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society Human-Animal Bond Trust. Outside of her work in veterinary medicine Dr. Mich enjoys hiking, snowboarding, cycling, sea kayaking, travel, gardening, and spending time with her family.
